Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Squinkies!

Great new toys for Cooper!

A couple of years ago, Logan left a toy at my house.  It was a toy he got from a vending machine for 25 cents.  Cooper liked it so much that Desiree went back to the vending machine and got more for him.

Just before Logan's 7th birthday, Desiree had bought these toys called Squinkies for Kyra.  They are made of the same rubber material that's squishy and bouncy.  Cooper loves them because they bounce in unpredictable directions because of their irregular shape.  He also likes to chew them because they are very flexible.  He seldom chews hard enough to ruin the toy.  He just likes what they feel like.

Squinkies come 16 to a package.  I gave the whole package to Cooper to open.  They are each in their own plastic bubbles like vending machine cases.  He was very determined to get the toys out so he could play with them.

Once we got them all out, I gathered all of them in my hands and threw them all against the wall.  Squinkies bounced EVERYWHERE!  Cooper LOVED it!  He even started to pick up two at a time to bring them back to me to throw them again.  He was very cute.

Now Cooper has more of these little toys than he could ever need.  He seldom ruins them, so with 16 Squinkies plus the ones from the vending machines he got from Logan, it seems that he may have a life long supply.  He has a lot of fun with them and he's so funny to watch.  He has learned to throw them against the wall himself.

HE's such a smart dog!

  1. I'm so glad we decided to buy them and tell you about them. I can't wait for the kids to see him play with them.

  2. He's so funny. They are in the bottom of his toy box and the toy box is too deep, so he barks at them till I get them out. Once he can get them, he's so funny. Throws them all over the place and pounces on them. He likes the animal ones better than the people ones. The go farther when they bounce.
